James McNerney retired a few days ago from his position as CEO of Boeing. Between 2005 and 2014, he raked in nearly $250 million in pay. His retirement package is $59 million. During his reign at Boeing, McNerney squeezed Boeing engineers and machinists, and outsourced so much of its Dreamliner development that the plane came in three years late and had to be grounded for safety in 2013.
