世界衛生組織總幹事譚德塞說：“我們還沒有到那一步，但終點就在眼前。”世衛組織表示，新報告的 Covid-19 病例數急劇下降，敦促世界抓住機會結束這一流行病。
“We are not there yet, but the end is in sight,” said World Health Organization chief Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus.
The number of newly reported Covid-19 cases has dropped dramatically, the WHO said, urging the world to seize the opportunity to end the pandemic.

習近平不穩？
「出門第一腳就踏空了，這是不祥預兆」？
根據《自由亞洲電台》報導，習近平昨下午搭乘專機抵達哈薩克，才剛走下飛機沒幾步，就因沒踩好階梯腳滑了一下，當下他趕緊伸出右手抓住扶手，才沒有跌倒。不過之後他就不斷低頭看著自己的步伐，似乎就怕再度腳滑，連抬手向遠方打招呼時也都沒有抬頭。
習近平幾年前去法國訪問，也發生過走路不穩狀況，引起國際關注。這次，有中國網友說「差一點就改變中國歷史進程了」。
歐盟執委會週三公佈多項措施，其中3項雖沒有點名，但明顯衝着中國而來，分別是：
減少在供應鏈上依賴中國原料，特別鋰和稀土；
全方位阻截中國在科研及社會各層面透過資助影響歐盟；
以及正式提出法案，禁止涉及強制勞動的產品在歐盟出售，針對新疆棉等多項歐美指斥借迫害維吾爾族來生產的新疆產品
